Lost soul. Not exactly out. Not exactly in. Just hanging out somewhere on-da-fringe.

Thanks for the offer. It’s something I really am interested in doing. Just have to figure out how to fit it in with everything else I like doing. The life of a retiree is sure busy 🙂

Nice work. The combination of map and photos really does the job for sharing the experience of the hike.

Thanks. And I agree, being able to attach a pic to the trail map, at the very spot where the pic was taken, gives the hike more context and improves the viewing experience.
I just returned from hiking the Old La Luz Trail. I needed a few more pics to include with the trail map I’m working on which will show both the Old La Luz and the New La Luz trails on the same topo map. Hope to post the finished trail map for the Old and New La Luz Trails sometime this weekend.
Since you know how to code a KML file, you should try this way of mapping your hikes. If you give it a shot and need any help, just let me know.
